Dr. Chloe Telles

RFM Representative - Kern Chapter

Chloe Telles is currently a psychiatry resident at Kern Medical who is thrilled to serve the community within Central California. She is originally from Los Angeles, California where she completed her bachelor’s degree in Psychology at California State University Northridge, while working as a CPR instructor and serving as a peer health educator at the university health center. After moving to Mississippi for medical school, Chloe discovered her appreciation to give back to medically underserved populations, especially within the field of mental health.  She participated in a week-long experience focused on addiction with direct patient interaction and group therapy at the Betty Ford Center in Rancho Mirage, CA. Also during medical school, she enjoyed mentoring Girl Scouts about medicine and coordinating events as National Liaison at her medical school’s American Medical Women’s Association (AMWA) Chapter. Now as a resident physician, one of her priorities is being an advocate, mentor, and educator in serving the needs of psychiatric patients. Chloe strives to integrate mindfulness into patient care with an open heart and without bias. She is interested in pursuing fellowship in addiction psychiatry.  Her hobbies include indoor cycling, baking, traveling, music, and spending time with family and friends. Chloe is enthusiastic to serve as a representative for CCPS and looks forward to continue giving back to the community of central California.
